  2.                  Installing Garbage Can On Windows 95 System
  3.                  -------------------------------------------

  5. The setup program (SETUP.EXE) can ONLY be used on a Windows 95 system.
  6.  
  7.     1) Create a temporary directory (i.e. C:\TempInstall)
  8.     2) Unzip the GC0196.ZIP file into the temporary directory.
  9.     3) Run the SETUP.EXE program in the temporary directory.
  10.        The setup program will install all the files and then
  11.        will make the necessary registry entries.  A new
  12.        Program Group will NOT be created.  You can create a
  13.        Program Group from your taskbar (<Start><Settings><Taskbar>).
  14.     4) Delete the temporary directory.

  17. If you decide not to use Garbage Can, you can remove it by deleting 
  18. the Garbage Can directory.  Then remove the DSREG.DLL and DSREG32.DLL 
  19. files from the \WINDOWS directory.  If you feel comfortable, run the
  20. regedit.exe program, search on the word 'Garbage', and delete all
  21. the references.

  24.                       Installing on Windows 3.1 System

  27.     1) Create a new directory (i.e. c:\GARBAGE)
  28.     2) Unzip the GC0196.ZIP into the new directory.
  29.     3) Now unzip the GC_WIN31.ZIP file into the new directory.
  30.     6) Transfer the DSREG.DLL file in the new directory
  31.        to the \WINDOWS directory.
  32.     4) You can delete the CAN32.EXE file.
  33.     5) You can delete the DSREG32.DLL file.
